Our CSR approach​

At Sogedex, we know that our business has an impact on the world around us. So, let's make it as positive as possible!

We have put in place several actions to take care of our teams and our customers, and to adopt practices that are increasingly respectful of the environment, while maintaining responsible growth.

We're serious about employee well-being

Employee well-being is at the very heart of Sogedex's DNA: we encourage diversity and inclusion, while ensuring equal treatment for all:

  • Gender diversity is guaranteed, with 70% of our workforce made up of women.
  • Seniors are also well represented: 30% of our workforce is over 50.
  • The younger generation is not left out: every year, we take on a work-study student, with dedicated support, to encourage their independence and professional integration.

We make sure that every employee can flourish and benefit from a supportive and caring working environment by implementing various actions to make Sogedex a great place to work:

  • Relaxation areas and ergonomic offices
  • Flexible working hours and the introduction of remote work
  • Special arrangements to enable parents to accompany their children on the First Day of School
  • Regular events throughout the year
  • Annual training budget (100% of employees have benefited from training over the past 2 years).
  • Annual interview to discuss employee development

Employees are also invited to follow a series of training courses developed by the Group to which we belong to raise awareness of discrimination and harassment issues, for example. 

All these initiatives are bearing fruit, since more than 40% of our total workforce has been with us for more than 20 years.

We respect the planet

Sogedex is also committed to participating in the collective effort to combat global warming. To this end, we are working to optimize our energy consumption and encourage our teams to understand the need to reduce their carbon footprint: 

  • Zero paper policy and waste sorting
  • 100% paperless order processing
  • Limiting over-packaging of products
  • Cardboard recycling and waste sorting
  • Use of recycled materials wherever possible
  • Elimination of flowpacks for product cushioning

We also prioritize shipping by sea for sourcing our products: 80% of our shipments are done this way.

A selection of products with low environmental impact

We have introduced an eco-responsible offer to move towards greater sustainability and offer eco-friendly solutions to our customers, without compromising on quality or use. In this way, we are making our own contribution to our customers' sustainable development policies. Today, we offer a “green” alternative in each of our ranges: lanyards, badge holders, wristbands, cards & badges, etc.

Ethics is our compass

Acting responsibly also means giving a special place to loyalty and ethics in our practices and exchanges.

That's why our teams are systematically trained in ethical practices (prevention of corruption or unfair practices, etc.) using the content and teaching tools provided by the Group. 

Throughout the year, we remain attentive to our partners' approaches. We are attentive to the responsible practices they put in place, in order to maintain a spirit of consistency with our values. 

For example, we have a long history with most of our suppliers who share our vision. For the oldest ones, our collaboration goes back more than 30 years!

In our global sourcing work, we also seek to favor the companies that surround us:

  • We work with several local suppliers (France and Europe)
  • We regularly call on a supported employment center for people with disabilities (ESAT) to carry out finishing work on some of our products.
  • We support local associations by donating products.
  • We have developed a partnership with France Travail (Employment Help Center in France) to promote local employment.

Meeting our customers' expectations is a daily priority, and a core value at Sogedex.

Customer satisfaction is central to our corporate strategy. We are committed to delivering on our promises, both in terms of deadlines and the quality of our services. Attentive, responsive and dedicated, we take every request seriously... even the most unexpected!

CSR is not a box-ticking exercise at Sogedex; it's a real dynamic that drives us to innovate and move forward together, with common sense and good humor. 

Our approach is based on concrete actions already in place and a constant desire to improve because we are convinced that positive impact, performance, and team spirit can go hand in hand. This is how we move forward.
