Description

This badge holder designed to hold a single card and secured with anti-RFID/NFC shielding is the essential accessory for protecting badges containing sensitive data.

Contactless RFID technology makes it possible to read data from a card by simply passing it in front of a scanner. If this technology offers a significant saving of time, it also represents a risk of fraudulent reading of the data recorded on the RFID chip by third parties.

With this Anti-RFID/NFC badge holder, you are assured that this data is protected from unauthorized reading of the card.

How does RFID shielding work?

This badge holder includes shielding that prevents the badge from being read. This protection consists of a layer of aluminum located inside the rear face of the product.

It covers almost all of the rear surface: the badge is effectively protected against the theft of sensitive data. Once the card is inserted, contactless communication with the reader is completely interrupted.

Thus, the functions of cards that comply with ISO 14443, EMV Contacless type A and B specifications and ISO 1693 cannot be performed when they are in this anti-RFID badge holder.

Easy card extraction

Because a card equipped with an RFID or NFC chip regularly needs to be extracted from the case to be able to read the data stored there, this badge holder has been designed with an opening which allows the badge to be extracted with thumb.

In order not to hinder the good readability of the information printed on the front of the card, this window is located at the back of the badge holder.

Semi-rigid design

The badge holder is made of 100% recyclable polypropylene, one of the most versatile polymers, which offers many advantages, including great flexibility of the material. The semi-rigid shell of the anti-RFID badge holder thus provides great comfort of use.
